For the better part of February and early March, former President Donald Trump’s polling numbers in Pennsylvania were showing strength against President Joe Biden, leading anywhere between 2-6 points.

In the latest polls from Susquehanna and Morning Consult, the tide is shifting in the race.

The survey from Susquehanna Polling showed Biden with a five-point advantage over Trump, while the Morning Consult numbers showed the pair in a dead heat.

In conjunction with Bloomberg, Morning Consult surveyed 807 registered voters and found a 45-45 split with six percent undecided. This is a six-point swing from the group’s February poll that saw Trump with a 49-43 lead.

Susquehanna interviewed 450 likely voters that gave Biden a 50-45 edge, just outside the +/-4.62 margin of error. It is a reduction from the 7.5-point advantage the president held in January (46.8-39.3) but did lift the 46th chief executive to the 50 percentage-point plateau.

Susquehanna pollster Jim Lee unveiled his survey to the Pennsylvania Press Club on Monday and displayed the map below to show areas where Trump is underperforming his 2016 margins against then-candidate Hillary Clinton when compared w/ his current margins in new poll.

In numbers from other key “swing states” conducted by Bloomberg, Biden made up five points vs. Trump in Wisconsin after trailing by four in a February poll. Biden and Trump were also even in Michigan at 45.45%.
